The ‘Orły ESG’ [ESG Eagles] award is an innovative way to recognise companies’ achievements within the scope of the completed ESG projects. The prestigious award was presented to Dr. Miele Cosmed Group S.A. on 24 April 2025 during a gala ceremony at the European Economic Congress in Katowice. The jury emphasised efforts in the areas of microplastic elimination and circular economy.
In the justification of the decision, the competition’s jury recognised the efforts to eliminate microplastics in cosmetics and household chemicals. The research department developed new formulas for soaps and gels that are free of synthetic polymer particles. In addition, the company undertakes a number of activities related to circular economy such as waste minimisation, material reuse and sustainable sourcing. ‘The ESG Eagle Award is a great honour for us. We’re the prime example that with the strategic approach of the Management Board, a long-term action plan and the activity of the Team any company is able to implement the principles of corporate responsibility into everyday operation. Step by step, by changing the organisational culture, engaging more people in the activities and sharing achievements internally, we are able to build a company with a mission and a clear vision of a better future for next generations,’ Magdalena Miele, CEO, proudly summarised.
