3 days of events, emotions and smiles – that’s how we could sum up the celebrations of 200 years of soap-making traditions held by Dr. Miele Cosmed Group S.A. The event, which was planned thinking about city residents, employees and company’s special guests, are estimated to have attracted a few thousand people!
The jubilee was a great opportunity to present company’s mission, a strong Team united by the vision of creating the highest-quality personal hygiene and household chemistry products for a wide audience. That’s why attractions brought to the participants by such brands as Kret, Sofin, Bobini and Apart were intertwined with cultural events, e.g. a special exhibition on the history of cleanliness or a performance by a star – the Pectus band.
There was something to suit anyone’s taste. The invited guests and business partners spent Friday evening in the stunning former monastery complex to learn more about the company’s history and its contemporary image while surrounded by the sounds of an electrical violin.
Company’s employees not only enjoyed themselves during sports games but also integrated in an employee zone created specially for them at the market square in Jawor. On a large stage set up in the city centre, they reminisced about the origins of the company. The Mayor of Jawor also took to the stage to officially thank the Management of the company and its Team for long-lasting, successful cooperation.
Residents, on the other hand, cheered on the players during the first friendly football match City Hall vs. Dr. Miele Cosmed Group, had fun during silent disco, in the fan zone, or relaxed while watching a movie at the outdoor cinema. Many of them didn’t hide their emotions while seeing old products from the former Pollena or soap-making moulds dating back to the beginning of the 20th century at the commemorative exhibition at the Regional Museum in Jawor. The attendees were also intrigued by mediaeval sewage pipes, baroque bathtubs and washing machines from various moments in history.
The youngest residents of Jawor spent Sunday afternoon in the company of Bobini the puppy on bouncy castles, making their own soaps and enjoying the first location-based game created by Dr. Miele Cosmed Group in collaboration with the Regional Museum.
