Dr Miele Cosmed Group S.A.: on the home stretch to complete the annual EBITDA plan = PLN 60 million

According to released results for the three quarters of the 2024 the producer of cosmetics and household chemistry achieved PLN 368 million in sales revenue, which equals a 12% Y2Y dynamics.

As announced by the Management Board, the company strives to achieve EBITDA at the level of PLN 60 million. With three quarters over, it is nearly PLN 48 million (EBITDA dynamics compared to a similar period of the year 2023 amounts to 56%). The results achieved stem from the completion of a diversified development plan based on the increase in the sales of private labels, development of sales on the German market, new export markets and a positive sales trend within the private label product category.

Improved financial results allow for the completion of numerous parallel goals. It primarily concerns investments in machinery resources that foster the creation of production and resource efficiency. An investment of PLN 13 million was made to purchase, among others, packaging robots, palletisers, and bottle erectors. The total value of all investments exceeded PLN 18 million during the nine months of this year.

“Excellent financial results of the company and strong, appreciated brands (for example, the title of Dobra Marka [Good Brand] 2024 and Dobra Marka XV-lecia [Good Brand of the last 15 years] are just one of the reasons for shareholder satisfaction. The price of Dr. Miele Cosmed Group S.A. shares in the last quarter, though still undervalued, slowly starts to reflect the results and enormous work contribution of our Team. Moreover, over the last three months, the company’s Management Board completed the payment of dividends announced in June. The total amount paid out was PLN 7.8 million”, summarised Magdalena Miele, president of the company’s Management Board. ‘Appreciating our efforts within the sustainable growth area makes our Team as content as financial results. We’re increasingly more often invited as a partner to develop new products that support responsible business. Immense effort put into ESG actions and transparent communication about progress were recognised with the title of a leader within the Companies’ Climate Awareness study organised by Fundacja Standardów Raportowania [Reporting Standards Foundation], Stowarzyszenie Emitentów Giełdowych [The Polish Association of Listed Companies] and Bureau Veritas Polska’, the President added.
